Was more saddened than I thought possible on hearing of the passing away of our very own Rock Heroine, Chrissy Amphlett and have been listening to her albums on high rotation ever since, mourning in my own way.
However, realised something just now. Little Patti, Australian popstar of the late 50s and early 60s, was her older cousin ... so what an amazing ride women took between the 60s and 80s.
In fact, check this out. I can think of no better example of how far women evolved in those 20 something years, than by comparing these two amazing Amphlett women:
