Yesterday, a Hong Kong fisherman called Jesus Christ Wong pulled a body out of the Harbour. It may not be The Rapture but it's the closest you're gonna get.
But it's been fun, hasn't it! Best fun I've had in ages, with all these hilarious and joyous "Who's going: who's not" conversations and googling in youtube for Best Zombie Deaths Ever!
However today's a different story. No news anywhere. There was before-the-event coverage yesterday on Al Jazeera, but then the Spanish banned protesting and everyone came out on the streets in protest and so Al Jazeera went there instead, which meant none of us here in HK got to see any part of the slow dawning realisation that Harold Camping was a true idiot, and that made us all very sad. We did so want the laugh.
Anyway, today's another day and, as Paul said, "Today's Sunday service will be awkward for the faithful: "What, BillyBob, you still here?", "You, too, Herb? Where's Melvin? That lucky so-and-so ..."

I read that the guy (and many of his followers) is devastated. Can't help but feel a bit sorry for him/them, in spite of it all.
