What Kills Us This Week

Since Fiji is all battened down and having a horrible time with Category 4 Cyclone Tomas, I feel sorta mean having a laugh at their expense but here goes.

Hong Kong is in the grip of its usual panic and you will never guess what's set it off this time:

FIJI

No, honestly.  It's Fiji!

It's all about what happened at last year's Hong Kong Sevens.  Fiji's riot in Wan Chai.  I posted the story back then, so I'll link you to it to refresh your memory.

Anyway, the police are currently complaining about having to organise for Fiji's return, and the Nepali bouncers are bitching away like mad and demanding protection.  Oh, and they're all now saying that THEY were all arrested after the riot and held for five days without being charged and they want explanations and police assurances that it won't happen again.

Thus it's all go, go, go here as Hong Kong trembles in anticipation of our arrival next week.

So that's my choice for this week:

THREATDOWN

Us!
Go Fiji Go!!!

Mind you, we may all be very subdued this year, given the battering we're getting from Tomas, but still, you can't keep a good Kai Viti down!
