What Kills Us This Week!

It's bad this week:

The view of HK Island yesterday!

Mind you, after three days of not being able to breathe and thinking "I'm developing asthma, or maybe even ... aahhhh .... emphysema!" it was a great relief to read this and find out that it's them and not me! Yayyy!

Since we get our pollution shunted down from the Pearl River Delta up in Mainland China, and we have no say over what happens up there, we really can't control this ... although we've instituted a smoking ban here AND developed our own electric car!

So, for this week:

THREATDOWN

So cute, la?
The foolish way we think a smoking ban
and electric car
- although kudos for that, by the way -
makes the slightest bit of difference!

Actuallythe pollution that affects you is generated locally from vehicles, the container port and electrical generation. The Gov does not even monitor the PM2.5 level pollution which is more dangerous. Blaming China for the pollution is government diversionary tactics and Gonad Tsang says there's no problem - just look at the long expectancies in HK.
